The German Shepherd named Rex is already 11 years old. The dog has been living in Animal Rescue Farm for eight years. He was brought to the farm after being found tied up with ropes in a junkyard.

Recently, the behavior of the dog has changed a lot. He became extremely aggressive. Rex bit several workers on the farm. Two volunteers came to feed Rex each time, one of whom distracted the dog, and the second brought food. Realizing that the dog is dangerous, they put him on the list of animals that should be euthanized.

And one day a goose Geraldine accidentally walked into Rex’s enclosure. The workers were afraid to imagine what Rex would do when he saw the goose.

Do you know what actually happened? To everyone’s surprise, nothing bad happened to the goose, but quite the contrary, they became friends and became inseparable. The dog that was once so aggressive became a good friend for Geraldine.

“I have been working on the farm since 1997 and have never met such an unusual case”, said Sheila, a worker of the farm, “Rex walks with Geraldine, licks the goose and they even often eat of the same bowl”.
