Moonpie lives in Arkansas at a local animal refuge with her dogs
Moonpie is a miniature cow that was bought form an animal auction by Janice Wolf, who also runs a nonprofit sanctuary for rescued animals.
“When she first came to Rocky Ridge, almost two months ago, the little calf “instantly” connected with all of the doggos at the rescue,” Wolf said
The little calf started playing with all twelve dogs at once – he obviously felt some connection
Spackle, a white bull terrier, fell in love with Moonpie at once.
“She was the first one to really claim her. She never left her side,” Wolf said. “They were just glued at the hip.”
Spackle cleans Moonpie every day and looks out for her. They made real friends.
Janice says that she observes Moonpie behaving like dogs now – she sits with them, plays and cuddles with them, eats from the same space and generally behaves like a dog puppy.
That is possibly because she was too little when she joined the dog’s family at the shelter, so she resembles the same behavior, which is in fact extremely adorable.
