Bad experience with humans has taught a pit bull named Boomer not to trust humans. Thus, when he was adopted from the shelter and brought to his new home, he refused to cross the threshold of the house.

Before Boomer was brought to the orphanage, he had to go through many hardships. He was found on the street with a badly healed leg and scars from gunshots. In addition to this, he had heart problems. It is not surprising that after this the animal is afraid of people.

His new owners believe that Boomer is afraid to enter the house, as he was once severely punished for this. But they do not give up and try to win the trust of the poor dog.

Samantha Zimmer, dog’s human mom said, “The dog wanted to enter but memories from the past didn’t let him make a step. Poor dog! How cruelly was he treated!”

For a whole month, Boomer sat at the doorstep and did not enter the house. Samantha brought him food to the yard and he slept there. Realizing that his foster family is kind and caring, Boomer trusted and went into the house!

Now Boomer has a very warm relationship with his owners. The dog not only walks freely around the house, but also likes to sleep on the couch with his family.
