A fence window made for the little dog makes him so very happy
Harry is a little dog, who enjoys watching the world and people pass by. But his family did not know about the passion of their dog, and probably would never know, if not the storm that knocked over the fence one day. This was the day Harry discovered his true passion for life, and finally his humans realized what he was missing so deeply.
“When my dad rebuilt the fence, there was some spaces between the pickets,” Alex Mcleish, Harry’s owner, said. “That’s when I caught Harry looking out the gaps!”
The new fence was put up with a different design allowing much visual access to what lay beyond the backyard. And this is when Harry was thrilled.
He was watching what was happening on the other side of the fence by peeking through the narrow slits and enjoying his time due to the fence windows.
“Harry knew it was for him!” Mcleish said. “He watched my dad when he was making it like he was waiting for him to be finished.”
Ever since the window was installed, Harry’s been glued to that area — watching with glee, and wagging his tail, as people and other pups walk by the house.
“He sits there for hours and will only come in when we call him,” Mcleish said.
With this tiny modification, Harry’s favorite new pastime was made even more enjoyable.
And, in a way, the family also had a pleasing new view — one of an extra-happy Harry loving life in their backyard.
“It definitely makes us smile seeing him watching the world go by,” Mcleish said.
